At The Hair Huna, every product that enters our salon space becomes part of the village. Not just because it performs well or might be trending online, or even if it carries a clean beauty label. But because energy matters.
The products we place on our shelves contribute to the atmosphere we create, the rituals we offer, and the experience our community carries home with them. Every formula, scent, ingredient, and interaction becomes part of the larger story we are building.
Which is why we chose to welcome Innersense Organic Beauty into our Hairadise village.

What Is Innersense?
Innersense is a professional clean hair care brand rooted in wellness, ingredient integrity, and conscious beauty ceremonies.
Their philosophy aligns closely with the energy behind The Hair Huna: healthy hair begins with balance, intention, and harmony between the person, the ritual, and the environment surrounding them.
Unlike brands built purely around aesthetics or performance alone, Innersense approaches hair care holistically by creating products that support the entire experience. Not just the end result.
Recently, they’ve even expanded into cleaner professional color systems that avoid many of the harsher ingredients commonly associated with traditional salon color (can’t wait to try that next! ). And for us, that’s super important.
Hair Harmony Over Harshness
So while we continue building The Hair Huna experience here in the Pocono Mountains, we’ve become increasingly intentional about the energy of the products we bring into the space.
There are many tourists that travel to the Poconos to slow down. To reconnect with nature, breathe deeper, and temporarily step away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
We wanted our salon suite experience to reflect that same feeling. Not rushed. Neither overwhelming. And most definitely not chemically overpowering.
Instead, we chose to create a grounding, restorative, and intentional space.
Some salon brands create beautiful hair while disrupting the atmosphere around them. Strong chemical smells, overstimulating branding, and harsh environments can pull people out of this type of experience entirely.
But during my trial run, Innersense felt different.
Their products support a softer, wellness-centered salon atmosphere that aligns beautifully with the tropical restoration energy we envision for Hairadise.
Luxury That Doesn’t Compete With The Ritual
One thing we value heavily at The Hair Huna is brand harmony. Some luxury brands arrive loudly. They demand the entire identity of the salon revolve around them. Which is perfectly fine, but really not our vibe.
But Innersense stands in its own power quietly. The packaging feels elevated. The formulas are concentrated, feeling intentional. And the overall experience feels luxurious without becoming disconnected from the wellness aspect.
More importantly, the products leave room for our own brand culture, Hairadise rituals, and tropical storytelling to exist beside them.
That’s the type of balance we need in our lives.
The Four Pillars of Health & Harmony
As we got to know the brand more deeply, we realized many of their values naturally mirrored the Hair Huna philosophies.
Ingredient Integrity
Clean, consciously crafted formulas designed to support long-term hair wellness rather than temporary results at the expense of overall harmony.
Ritual & Experience
Hair care should feel regulating, grounding, and restorative. Not overstimulating or transactional.
Education & Wisdom
Products should come with guidance and intentional education, not confusion or pressure-based selling.
Community & Conscious Growth
Supporting brands that still value relationships, artistry, wellness, and the people behind the chair.
Yeah, these pillars may look simple on the surface, but in today’s beauty industry, they truly matter more than ever.
Why Family-Owned Still Matters
In an industry increasingly dominated by corporations and acquisitions, we’ve become more intentional about who we support. We believe smaller, heart-led companies still matter.
The beauty industry was originally built on community. A village of artists, educators, salons, creators, and relationships. But that spirit can easily become lost when growth becomes disconnected from purpose.
As a growing business ourselves, we want to align with companies that still remember the people behind the chair, the clients in the community, and the energy exchanged during every service. Because that human connection still matters to us.
The Importance of Intentional Onboarding
One of the things that stood out to us most about Innersense was their onboarding process. You don’t simply “buy in” immediately. And although I am a licensed professional, I can’t pop in to the local beauty wholesaler and buy it off the selves.
There are intentional entry points designed to help professionals actually understand and get acquainted with the products, philosophy, rituals, and purpose behind the brand before fully stepping into the space.
They teach before they sell. Which is super valuable and actually pretty uncommon in the beauty industry today.
After my experience working within a couple hair care companies, and being behind the chair for both independent and franchise salons, I noticed a lot of people have issues with their products. And nine out of ten times it’s because they (both the stylist and the client) weren’t properly educated on them. Many choose brands due to hype or influencer use.
We can’t relate.
Here at The Hair Huna, wisdom passing is part of our culture. Hair rituals carry energy, and the products used within those rituals should come with deep understanding, not just step by step instructions.
So yeah, that alignment meant a lot to us.
The Hair Huna’s Innersense Favorites
Yes, philosophy and alignment matter. We just proved that in the sections above… But what about the products themselves? They do have to earn their place in the Hair Huna’s rituals as well.
One of the first things I noticed about Innersense was the fragrances. I love smell goods. But some products over do it.
Rather than overwhelming the senses, many of Innersense’s products carry a light, naturally citrus-y aroma that feels fresh, clean, and uplifting without lingering heavily throughout the day.
Throughout my time building a salon experience centered around wellness and nervous system care, it can be hard to find that balance. I want clients to enjoy the ritual without feeling bombarded by scents.
But after spending time with some of Innersense’s Founder Favorites, there’s a few that have already earned a permanent place in my Hair Huna carry-on.
True Enlightenment Scalp Scrub
If there was ever a product destined for Hairadise, it might be this one.
The True Enlightenment Scalp Scrub transforms a simple wash day into a genuine scalp ritual. The gentle exfoliation helps lift away buildup while creating an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and give attention to the foundation of healthy hair: the scalp.
As someone who believes healthy hair begins at the root, this product feels perfectly aligned with the Hair Huna philosophy.

Hydrating Cream Hairbath + Conditioner
The Hydrating Hairbath has become one of my go-to cleansers for both myself and guests seeking moisture, softness, and gentle cleansing.
Many moisturizing shampoos can leave hair feeling weighed down, but this one has a beautiful balance. The scalp feels clean, nourished, and refreshed while hair maintains movement and softness.
The conditioner has a good amount of slip to help with the detangling process and balanced hydration (my curls keep saying thank you).
It’s the type of product that quietly does its job well — which may be one of the highest compliments I can give a hair care product.
Hair Renew Daily Active Serum + Scalp Oil
Scalp wellness has become one of the most overlooked conversations in modern hair care.
The Daily Active Serum quickly became a top fave because it encourages intentional scalp care without feeling overly heavy or greasy. I use it with my wooden hibiscus scalp massager for massage rituals, creating a moment of harmony whether it’s before a long day behind the chair. Or to promote wellness during a relaxing evening.
The Hair Renew Scalp Oil is perfect for second, third (and so on) day styles. That’s when my scalp usually feels tight, dry or itchy but I’m not ready to wash it just yet.

Remember, Your Journey is More Than Products
At the end of the day, products alone don’t lead you on a successful hair wellness journey. But hair rituals? They do. And so does consistency and the community you’re a part of.
So finding products that support those practices makes the journey easier. And these are just a few of the Innersense offerings that have already found a home within our Hairadise village.
A Place In The Village
The Hair Huna believe that every product we use becomes part of our bigger vision: a slower, more conscious approach to beauty, wellness, ritual, and community.
When we decided to welcome Innersense into our salon suite, it wasn’t just about performance. It was about alignment with the brand values itself.
Because in Hairadise, there’s different elements to finding harmony in our village.
