Yes, it’s that time for some fall hair trends!

For some, fall might signify pumpkin spice, apple picking, hay rides, and bonfires. And while those are definitely staples, fall signifies more.

Transition. Change. Letting Go. Fresh Starts. Release what is no longer serving you. Planting the seeds for an evolved you.

Just like the leaves are changing colors, your hair could probably use a good refresh. Here are some fall hair trends you should try this season.

Color Trends

It might be football season, but this is your game changer right here! Add color to those locks for a bold statement. Try one of these:

1. Red, Copper and Golden Hues

What better way to make a bold statement than by choosing a mixture of these hues for your next hair color?

2. Highlights/ Lowlights

The best way to add depth and dimension.

Make your curls pop without worrying about the damage (have a consultation with your stylist about the safe way to highlight curls)!

Treatments

Trick-or-Treat? Keep the trick, but I’ll take a treatment!

My favorite fall hair trend I recommend to any and all clients! Why? Because there is a treatment for everyone.

1. Hair Detox

Between the buildup of products, hard water and chlorine from the summer days at the pool, detoxes remove those impurities for a clean slate.

2. Keratin

A smoothing treatment is an excellent option if you’re looking for frizz free hair with some added moisture. I use Lasio’s Keratin Tropic Keratin Treatment because it’s formaldehyde free and made with coconut oil. It eliminates frizz but allows you to keep curls and body in your hair. Styling time is reduced and your curls won’t put up a fight anymore. Blowouts are less time consuming and the shine is unmatched.

Ask your stylist about this treatment or see if their mobile team is in your area.

3. Deep Conditioning/ Oil Treatments

You’re hair might be parched if you spent a lot of time in the sun this summer. Add some deep penetrating hydration through a deep conditioning or hot oil treatment. Bonus points if you sit under the dryer for 10-15 minutes to really get the effects.

If you’re into DIY’s, you can also try adding some essential oils in your next hair treatment.

Hair Accessories

A cute addition to any hairstyle, from pins to headbands, to scarves, and even hair jewelry. Use these to dress up or add flair to hairstyles of all occasions.

Cuts

Your hair cut can either make or break your style. This can also really accentuate your color.

1. Long Layered Cut

If you’re looking to keep your length, but want to add some spice (but not be too forward), then you’ll want to add some long layers. This helps to add shape to your hair by removing the weight of all your hair without compromising the length you’ve worked so hard to grow..

2. Fringes + Bangs

Whether you’re having a mental breakdown or not, fringes add some flair to your hair (and mental state). Additionally, they can frame the face, draw your eye elsewhere, and even hide fine lines.

*Spiritual Beauty Tip: bangs and fringes cover the third eye chakra and can block energy flow. If you are looking to add a fringe or bang to your current hair style, try curtain bangs, a side bang, or a wispy light fringe!

3. Bobs and Lobs

There’s literally so many variations of bobs and lobs.

Asymmetrical. Stacked. Textured Layers. Blunt.

Each type adds its own sort of fun and sophisticated twist to your look. Find which one is right for you!

So there you have it, the fall hair trends of 2022! This is the best time to change up your look so you can finish out the year with fresh, evolved energy. Which trend are you going to pull off?
